Conductor and arranger Hans Ek returns together with singers Magnus Carlson, Moto Boy and Jennie Abrahamsson to David Bowie’s iconic Berlin Trilogy. Drawing on the albums Low, Heroes and Lodger, they create a hauntingly evocative exploration of one of the most influential periods in pop history.
During his years in Berlin between 1976 and 1978, Bowie shaped a new musical expression where pop meets experimentation and art music—a sonic landscape particularly well suited to a symphonic setting. Ten years after David Bowie’s passing, this music continues to resonate with undiminished power. Bowie himself described these works as his musical DNA, and songs like “Heroes” still move generation after generation.
