Great reviews after world premiere of Lindström’s Clarinet Concerto

Last week, Emil Jonason performed the world premiere (two concerts) of Emmy Lindström’s Clarinet Concerto “At the Hills of Hampstead Heath” together with the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Stefan Solyom. The concerto recieved standing ovations and was commissioned by Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, Gävle Symphony Orchestra, Västerås Sinfonietta and Dalasinfoniettan.

Helsingborgs Dagblad wrote:

“the broad melodies and the striking orchestration will continue to bringing down the house in the future, as it did on the premiere”

The premiere was recorded by Swedish Radio (P2) and will be broadcasted later this autumn. Next live performance will be in February 2018 in Falun.
